Hello all you wonderful people!

Some of you are probably wondering what happened to my posts! Did I undergo major surgery? Did I finally flip my lid after sitting behind the computer 12 hours a day, seven days a week and toss the damn machine out the window? Or, did I just roll over and die? I’m here to ensure you that none of the above happened, yet there is some partial truth to the second question.

For some time now I’ve wanted to change the flavor of my post. I’ve tossed around several ideas and decided that whatever I post will revolve around what speaks to my heart–love and joy.

ROBIN3I’m dedicating my first post to one of the greatest comedians and actors of our time, Robin Williams, who spent his life bringing joy into peoples’ lives through his outstanding performance in his comedy show—Mork and Mindy—and his unforgettable roles in film—Good Will Hunting, What Dreams May Come, Dead Poets Society, Hook, Good Morning Vietnam, Ms. Doubtfire, Genie in Aladdin
Robin Williams has long been an inspiration to me. He listened to his heart, stepped out of the box–“the right way of doing things”– and stepped into his authentic self, giving the world a piece of him, a piece of his soul.

Below I’ve included some of his greatest lines from his movies that cuts to the core.

“You don’t know about real loss because it only occurs when you’ve loved something more than you love yourself. I doubt you’ve ever dared to love anybody that much.”
– Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting

“Our job is improving the quality of life not just delaying death.” – Patch Adams in Patch Adams

Here’s to you, Robin Williams, the man who inspired the world with laughter. It’s been one hell-of-a-Joy Ride! Thank you for taking us on your journey.
